Hokoru Akiyama

Hokoru Akiyama (born in Tokyo, Japan) started classical ballet lessons from a young age. She later studied classical ballet, contemporary dance, and body conditioning in Vienna (Austria) for two years under the Romanian born dancer Simona Noja-Nebyla, a former principal ballerina at the Vienna State Opera Ballet. As a member of the Arles Youth Ballet Company (France) for the season 2022-2023, she had the opportunity to work with the internationally acclaimed choreographers including Kinsun Chan, Patrick Delacroix, Young Soon Hue, and Craig Davidson.

She joined the Klaipėda State Music Theater Ballet company in September 2023.
