Translated into Lithuanian by Aleksas Dabulskis
The production uses licensed material provided by Music Theatre International.

Premiering on Broadway in 1964, Fiddler on the Roof quickly became one of the most iconic and innovative works in musical theatre history, earning numerous awards and global acclaim. The score blends Jewish folk motifs, Russian romance, and contemporary musical elements, with songs like “Tradition,” “If I Were a Rich Man,” and “Sunrise, Sunset” becoming timeless classics.
This lyrical, humorous, and emotionally rich story follows Tevye and his family in the small village of Anatevka, where long-standing traditions clash with a changing world.
