Yuya Aoki
Japanese born dancer Yuya Aoki (b. 2004) started ballet training at the Contemporary Ballet Studio Dance Nuts (2011–2021). In 2021, he was selected among the semi-finalists of Prix des Lausanne competition for young dancers (Switzerland). He later studied ballet and graduated from the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp (2021–2023). In 2022, he won 2nd Prize (contemporary category) in Japan Grand Prix dance competition. In 2023, he was engaged in the production of Ludwig Alois Minkus’s Don Quixote by the Ballet de Catalunya (original choreography by Marius Petipa adapted by Elias Garcia and Larissa Lezhnina). That same year he took part in the Nederlans Dans Theater’s Summer Intensive.
Member of the KSMT Ballet Company since September 2023.
