Ballet dancer
Arata Yamaoto
Arata Yamamoto was born in Japan in 2003. He graduated from Tanz Akademie Zürich in 2022 under the direction of Oliver Matz and Steffi Scherzer.
After graduation, he joined the Bucharest National Ballet, where he was promoted to Soloist in 2024.
He later danced with the Estonian National Ballet and is currently a member of the Lithuanian National Ballet.
His repertoire includes Swan Lake (Prince Siegfried, Pas de Trois), The Nutcracker (Prince), Raymonda (Friends), Suite en Blanc (Pas de Cinq), and Le Parc (Gardener), among others.
In 2018, Arata received first place at YAGP Japan and was a finalist at the YAGP New York Finals the same year.
