“Baby Mozart” is a warm and cozy first introduction to classical music. During this educational concert, young listeners and their parents are invited to settle comfortably on soft mats and embark on a journey into the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Some children will quietly listen to the live-performed melodies and stories about music, while others will explore the space, move to the rhythm, or make new friends.
Scientific research shows that classical music can have a positive effect on children’s emotional well-being, attention, and cognitive development. The concert will feature works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as well as other gems of classical music, performed by professional musicians of the Klaipėda State Music Theatre.
To ensure a comfortable theatre experience, the event will take place in the Lagoon hall, where a safe, calm, and predictable environment will be created, helping young audiences feel more relaxed and at ease.
During the performance, the following will be ensured:
- a reduced number of audience members;
- dimmed lighting;
- the possibility to freely leave and return to the hall at any time;
- a cozy environment with fewer sensory stimuli;
- trained theatre staff ready to provide assistance and information.
We invite families to discover the world of classical music in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for every child.
