Deividas Dulka
Deividas Dulka graduated from the Ballet Department of the National Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis School of Arts in 2021 (teacher: Aleksandr Semionov). In 2018, at 16, he appeared in his first solo role as the Prince in Prokofiev’s ballet Cinderella. In school performances and gala concerts, he performed quite a few pas de deux roles including the Bluebird from Tchaikovsky’s ballet The Sleeping Beauty, Actaeon from Jules Perrot and Cesare Pugni’s ballet La Esmeralda, Pablo from August Bournonville’s ballet The Flower Festival in Genzano, and the wedding pas de deux from Adolphe Adam’s ballet Giselle.
Since 2021, he has joined the Kaunas State Music Theatre ballet company. His solo repertoire includes Jafar in Oleksandr Rodin’s ballet for children Aladdin (choreographed and directed by Serhii Kon, 2022), Gustave (Prince) in the ballet Cinderella’s Other Story after the music by Johann Strauss II (chor. Gianni Santucci, 2017), Othello in Anatolijus Šenderovas’ ballet Desdemona (chor. Anželika Cholina, 2023).
