Hanana Mori

Hanana Mori is a young Japanese ballet artist whose passion for dance began at the age of three. She trained at the Reiko Yamamoto Ballet School until the age of fifteen, developing a strong classical foundation and demonstrating exceptional technical ability from an early stage. Her talent was recognized at the prestigious NBA National Ballet Competition in Japan, where she received 6th Place in 2022 and 2nd Place in 2023 within her age category.

Seeking to broaden her artistic horizons, Mori joined the ARCHITANZ Training Program, where she focused on both classical ballet and contemporary dance. She later continued her education at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, studying classical and contemporary dance for two years and earning an Artist Certificate.

During her time in the Netherlands, she performed works by leading contemporary choreographers, including excerpts from Kunstkamer by Crystal Pite and Wanderers by Dimo Krilov Milev. She also participated in the creation of new works by choreographers affiliated with Nederlands Dans Theater, including Aya Misaki, Jon Bond, and Parvaneh Scharafali.

Her classical repertoire includes the title role in Act II of Giselle, the Dance of the Four Bayadères from La Bayadère, and guest appearances as the Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty and Étoile in Paquita.

Hanana Mori is distinguished by her elegant classical technique, musicality, and versatility, seamlessly bridging the worlds of classical ballet and contemporary dance. Her artistry reflects a new generation of international dancers who combine strong academic training with a curiosity for creative exploration and diverse choreographic expression.
